Abiel means ‘God is my Father.’ Over our lifetime, the evidence of God’s direction and care begin to fit like pieces of a puzzle. The good, the bad, what we understand, and what we don’t are all used by God for our ultimate good, and also that of others. The goal of Abiel books is to tell these stories of life and hope—learning to trust God and cherish his love. Be encouraged as you and your family travel your own unique journey!

About The Author
Elise Abiel is quite ordinary. Yet she has experienced some extraordinary adversity and adventure. Her pursuit of God through the ups and downs has given her enduring hope.
Facing tragedy as a young widow with small children and later surviving stage 4 cancer she has sought the answers to the age-old questions of life. Why does God allow so much pain? Yet, along with the bad there is always good. Through the years she’s also lived in beautiful nature-filled places, in 7 different states, and traveled to over 20 countries giving her a wide range of cultural experience. Abiel has a degree in Mechanical Design and Bible Studies. As a young woman she worked in the design field for both a toy and computer company. She was blessed to be a stay-at-home parent and later owned and managed a small business (the homemade ice-cream was delicious).
Elise is a quiet problem solver, with the heart of an advocate. She’s a mother, grandmother, and friend.
